Big Brothers Big Sisters is a national organization working to clear the path to a child's biggest possible future. They work with parents to match each child with a mentor to foster a friendship built on trust, learning and growth.
A portion of our proceeds will go toward sending girls enrolled in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County program to summer camp. This is a dream-come-true for many of these girls, as summer camp is a place to build self-esteem, foster lasting relationships, and discover worlds they never thought possible.
Together, we are defenders of potential.
This unique camp empowers girls and young women to act as global citizens first at camp and then to carry these skills into the world. With opportunities for swimming in Burr Pond, horseback riding, ropes course, boating, camp craft, farming, gardening, theater, and a different evening activity every night, the days are full of fun, laughter and friendship. Campers learn community responsibility through cabin and camp jobs, community outreach and the spirit of a close-knit camp community.
In the words of Melissa, one of the campers in the photo:
“Camp Betsy Cox is a fun and exciting place where I make new friends, and choose different activities during the day. It was like having a big family.“
